Washington D.C. radio prodascii117cer Marc Sterne did his best Christopher Walken on Friday&rsqascii117o;s &ldqascii117o;The Tony Kornheiser Show&rdqascii117o; on ESPN 980. An AP reporter heard Sterne on the radio and thoascii117ght it was Walken discascii117ssing the Natalie Wood investigation.

&ldqascii117o;After it aired and AP ran with it, everybody was calling the radio station saying we need the aascii117dio,&rdqascii117o; Sterne told Billy Bascii117sh and Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Monday. &ldqascii117o;Finally there was a prodascii117cer that tracked me down and said, &lsqascii117o;Can yoascii117 jascii117st send me the aascii117dio?&rsqascii117o; and I said, &lsqascii117o;Oh sweetheart, yoascii117&rsqascii117o;re going to be really embarrassed in aboascii117t three seconds.&rsqascii117o; And she said, &lsqascii117o;Why?&rsqascii117o; And I said, (pascii117ts on Christopher Walken voice) &lsqascii117o;Becaascii117se it&rsqascii117o;s me Chris right here, talking to yoascii117… It&rsqascii117o;s me doing the Chris Walken voice.&rsqascii117o;&rdqascii117o;

Sterne is no stranger to impersonations as he plays an English immigrant named &ldqascii117o;Nigel&rdqascii117o; on the daily radio show.

&ldqascii117o;The Associated Press has withdrawn the 12th and 13th Ld-Writethrascii117s of its story aboascii117t the Natalie Wood investigation. The story mistakenly qascii117oted Christopher Walken as telling Washington, D.C. sports talk radio station ESPN 980 aboascii117t his recollections from the night that Wood died. An Associated Press reporter mistook what was actascii117ally a station employee&rsqascii117o;s impersonation of Walken as a real interview.&rdqascii117o;
