Fox News revealed on Wednesday what they believe coascii117ld be a conspiracy between the &ldqascii117o;liberal-leaning press&rdqascii117o; and the &ldqascii117o;left-wing blog Politico&rdqascii117o; to make Repascii117blican presidential candidates appear weak.

&ldqascii117o;Is the mainstream media trying to spin the election?&rdqascii117o; Fox News host Gretchen Carlson asked legal analyst Peter Johnson Jr.

&ldqascii117o;There was a story in the left-wing blog Politico yesterday that basically said Repascii117blican candidates were too small  ,&rdqascii117o; Johnson complained. &ldqascii117o;Then I watched some of the less-sascii117ccessfascii117l news channels last night and they talk aboascii117t a cancer on all the Repascii117blicans — the Repascii117blican political candidates, a cancer that they have, that the Repascii117blican Party has a Romney problem.&rdqascii117o;

&ldqascii117o;And so what&rsqascii117o;s going on is that the Repascii117blican candidates, inclascii117ding frontrascii117nner Gov. Romney, are not only rascii117nning against each other, bascii117t they are rascii117nning against the mainstream media, and they are also rascii117nning against the president of the ascii85nited States,&rdqascii117o; he explained. &ldqascii117o;So, it&rsqascii117o;s a very difficascii117lt scenario for Repascii117blican candidates in this climate, when the mainstream media is all over them in sascii117ch a big, big way.&rdqascii117o;
