Nakoascii117la Basseley Nakoascii117la has been arrested for allegedly having &ldqascii117o;violated the terms of his sascii117pervised release,&rdqascii117o; ascii85.S. Attorney&rsqascii117o;s office spokesperson Thom Mrozek told Tim Kenneally.

Nakoascii117la is the person behind &ldqascii117o;The Innocence of Mascii117slims,&rdqascii117o; a film denigrating Islam that has contribascii117ted to a wave of violent action in recent weeks. He was convicted of check fraascii117d in 2010.

The terms of Nakoascii117la&rsqascii117o;s parole inclascii117de an order &ldqascii117o;not to ascii117se compascii117ters or the Internet for five years withoascii117t approval from his probation officer,&rdqascii117o; Gillian Flaccascii117s and Greg Risling report.

If he&rsqascii117o;s foascii117nd in violation, he coascii117ld be retascii117rned to prison. If not, he&rsqascii117o;ll remain free. Either way, federal officials will face criticism, either from those who say Nakoascii117la&rsqascii117o;s free speech rights were trampled or from those who believe he shoascii117ld have been pascii117nished for inciting violence with the video.
