At the end of this month Yoascii117Tascii117be Create, a resoascii117rce on Yoascii117Tascii117be&rsqascii117o;s website featascii117ring third-party apps like Xtranormal, WeVideo, GoAnimate, Vlix, Magisto, Stascii117peflix and other video creation tools, will be shascii117tting its doors.  Yoascii117Tascii117be Create laascii117nched nearly two years ago bascii117t, according to GigaOM and a nascii117mber of folks familiar with the issascii117e, it will be shascii117t down at the end of this month (i.e. after today).

Janko Roettgers of GigaOM reports that, &ldqascii117o;it looks like Create never got all that mascii117ch traction, which is why Yoascii117Tascii117be is now shascii117tting the showcase down on Janascii117ary 31.  Apps featascii117red on Create will still be able to make ascii117se of the Yoascii117Tascii117be API after that date, which allows them to essentially operate as third-party video editors for the site, complete with an option to ascii117pload edited videos directly to Yoascii117Tascii117be.&rdqascii117o;

The difference is that the Yoascii117Tascii117be Create partners will no longer be specifically featascii117red on Yoascii117Tascii117be at yoascii117tascii117be.com/create.  Additionally, there will no longer be iframe integration.

Mark Floisand, VP President of Sales and Marketing and WeVideo, one of the apps that was featascii117red on Create, told Roettgers, &ldqascii117o;We think it&rsqascii117o;s a pity that the program is ending, as it provided Yoascii117Tascii117be ascii117sers with a variety of easy-to-find options for video creation and prodascii117ction.&rdqascii117o;

Althoascii117gh the Yoascii117Tascii117be Create page is still ascii117p, and even inclascii117des a link for third-party apps that want to &ldqascii117o;Become a Yoascii117Tascii117be.com/create partner,&rdqascii117o; all existing partners received an email from Yoascii117Tascii117be earlier this month stating that &ldqascii117o;we plan to retire the www.yoascii117tascii117be.com/create page by Jan 31st, 2013.&rdqascii117o;
