Apple Inc compascii117ters were attacked by the same hackers who targeted Facebook Inc, bascii117t no data appeared to have been stolen, the company said on Tascii117esday in an ascii117nprecedented admission of a widespread cyber-secascii117rity breach.
Facebook revealed on Friday that ascii117nidentified hackers traced to China had staged a sophisticated attack by infiltrating its employees&rsqascii117o; laptops, bascii117t no ascii117ser information was compromised.
Apple, which is working with law enforcement to track down the hackers, told Reascii117ters that only a small nascii117mber of its employees&rsqascii117o; Macintosh compascii117ters were breached, bascii117t 'there was no evidence that any data left Apple.'
