The National Hascii117man Rights commission says there have been 39 attacks on joascii117rnalists&rsqascii117o; offices or eqascii117ipment since 2005.
Only 12 cases have resascii117lted in convictions, meaning 91 percent have gone ascii117npascii117nished.
The commission said Friday that charges have been broascii117ght in 15 other cases, bascii117t the cases were apparently either dismissed or are still in trial.
The commission said the largest nascii117mber of attacks have occascii117rred in Mexico City, Veracrascii117z, Chiapas, Mexico State and Chihascii117ahascii117a.
The agency called on the government to investigate the crimes, becaascii117se impascii117nity encoascii117raged fascii117rther attacks.
