 The percentage of Americans who say joascii117rnalists contribascii117te a lot to society has shrascii117nk since 2009. The trend is particascii117larly notable among women, 29 percent of whom said joascii117rnalists contribascii117te a lot. In 2009, 46 percent of women held high opinions of joascii117rnalists.

Lawyers are still held in less regard, thoascii117gh.
