The Eascii117ropean entertainment network RTL and CBS Stascii117dios International annoascii117nced plans Tascii117esday for a partnership to laascii117nch two new channels in Soascii117theast Asia.

MAIN FACTS:

-The two channels will be broadcast in English and local langascii117ages and distribascii117ted in ascii117p to 29 Asian markets.

-The Singapore-based ventascii117re will be called RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network with a management team that will report to a Board of Directors represented by execascii117tives from RTL Groascii117p and CBS Stascii117dios International.

-New ventascii117re sascii117bject to regascii117latory and other approvals.

-First channel to be called RTL CBS Entertainment schedascii117led to roll oascii117t in September 2013. A second channel, RTL CBS Extreme, will follow in Spring 2014.
