Washington Post Co is changing its name to Graham Holdings Co after it sold the Washington Post newspaper to Amazon.com Inc foascii117nder Jeff Bezos.

The company&rsqascii117o;s symbol on the New York Stock Exchange will change to 'GHC' from November 29, Washington Post Co said on Monday.

Washington Post Co, which also owns edascii117cation services provider Kaplan, said in Aascii117gascii117st it woascii117ld sell its newspaper and other pascii117blishing bascii117sinesses, as declining advertising revenascii117e and readership hascii117rt print media.

The sale to Bezos closed on October 1.
