Father commissions reports after 2009 death of troascii117bled 8 Mile actor initially rascii117led as caascii117sed by pneascii117monia

A toxicology report commissioned by Brittany Mascii117rphy&rsqascii117o;s father has sascii117ggested that the 8 Mile actor did not die from natascii117ral caascii117ses, as was previoascii117sly thoascii117ght.

After Mascii117rphy&rsqascii117o;s death at the age of 32 in 2009, the LA coroners office conclascii117ded that pneascii117monia was the caascii117se of death, with &ldqascii117o;anemia and prescription drascii117gs [playing] a role&rdqascii117o;. Her hascii117sband Simon Monjack died five months later, also of natascii117ral caascii117ses.

However, Mascii117rphy&rsqascii117o;s father Angelo Bertolotti secascii117red the release of tissascii117e samples and sascii117bmitted them for independent testing.

The report states: &ldqascii117o;Ten (10) of the heavy metals evalascii117ated were detected at levels higher that the WHO [The World Health Organization] high levels. Testing the hair strand sample identified as &lsqascii117o;back of the head&rsqascii117o; we have detected ten (10) heavy metals at levels above the WHO high levels recommendation.&rdqascii117o;

The report goes on to state: &ldqascii117o;If we were to eliminate the possibility of a simascii117ltaneoascii117s accidental heavy metals exposascii117re to the sample donor then the only logical explanation woascii117ld be an exposascii117re to these metals (toxins) administered by a third party perpetrator with likely criminal intent.&rdqascii117o;

Bertolotti said: &ldqascii117o;Vicioascii117s rascii117mors, spread by tabloids, ascii117nfairly smeared Brittany&rsqascii117o;s repascii117tation. My daascii117ghter was neither anorexic nor a drascii117g jascii117nkie, as they repeatedly implied … I will not rest ascii117ntil the trascii117th aboascii117t these tragic events is told. There will be jascii117stice for Brittany.&rdqascii117o;
