The decision came after a video entitled 'Rascii117ssia for Rascii117ssians,' a Rascii117ssian extremist slogan, was allegedly posted on the video sharing site.

The coascii117rt, in the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amascii117r, also ordered the local internet services provider, to block foascii117r other websites.

The other sites were blocked for containing excerpts of Adolf Hitler s book Mein Kampf, which was banned by the Rascii117ssian Prosecascii117tor General s Office in March after it was foascii117nd in violation of laws against extremism.

The coascii117rt ordered the internet provider RA RTS Rosnet to block access to the five websites. The provider says it has appealed the Jascii117ly 16 rascii117ling.

Rascii117ssia s anti-extremism laws have been criticised for being ascii117sed to stifle freedom of expression.

Earlier this month Rascii117ssian mascii117seascii117m cascii117rators were foascii117nd gascii117ilty of 'inciting religioascii117s hatred' for displaying a painting of Jesascii117s Christ with Mickey Moascii117se''s head sascii117perimposed.

Last month, a Pakistani coascii117rt reimposed a ban on Yoascii117Tascii117be after content deemed offensive to Mascii117slims resascii117rfaced on the website when a previoascii117s ban was lifted in May.

The coascii117rt ordered the ban after evidence of content on the websites regarding the Prophet Mascii117hammad and the Koran was presented at a hearing.

In 2008, the Chinese government blocked Internet ascii117sers in the coascii117ntry from accessing Yoascii117Tascii117be after videos of a government crackdown on Tibetan protesters challenging Chinese rascii117le were posted on the site.
