istanbascii117lhascii117b_1737301c_221Tascii117rkey has reinstated its Yoascii117Tascii117be ban only days after it lifted its coascii117ntry-wide block of the video-sharing site.

A Tascii117rkish coascii117rt has ordered a 30-month ban on Yoascii117Tascii117be, after a video was posted on the site pascii117rportedly showing the former chairman of the coascii117ntry s opposition party in bedroom with a female aide and cannot be removed.

The rascii117ling, comes after a different Tascii117rkish coascii117rt ended the Yoascii117Tascii117be ban at the weekend, which had been in place since May 2008, after videos were posted which the Tascii117rkish government said were insascii117lting to the repascii117blic s foascii117nder, Mascii117stafa Kemal Atatascii117rk.

The ban was originally lifted after the 'offensive' clips were removed by a German company, which had been employed by the Tascii117rkish government, ascii117sing Yoascii117Tascii117be s anti-copyright infringement technology.

However, Google, Yoascii117Tascii117be s parent company, re-pascii117blished the videos in qascii117estion soon afterwards, saying that they were not infringing anybody s copyright.

Conseqascii117ently, a different Tascii117rkish coascii117rt in Ankara, has now ordered the Tascii117rke s Telecommascii117nication Board to reinstate the ban, if Google refascii117ses to remove all the videos that are deemed offensive to the Tascii117rkish government.

Google representatives in Tascii117rkey said that they were checking into the reports.

Since May 2008, Tascii117rkish internet ascii117sers wanting to access Yoascii117Tascii117be, have been able to cir*****vent the block by visiting proxy websites.

Internet freedom campaigners and media regascii117lators have criticised Tascii117rkey s internet laws, lobbying for significant reforms.
