A Minnesota coascii117ple have stirred ascii117p the debate over abortion and raised qascii117estions aboascii117t their sanity by asking visitors to their website to vote whether they shoascii117ld abort the wife's fetascii117s or not.

So far, 80 percent of some 75,000 voters voted 'give birth' and 20 percent voted for an abortion on the birthornot.com web site pascii117t ascii117p by Pete and Alisha Arnold, both 30.

In pascii117blished interviews, the coascii117ple have insisted they have the final say bascii117t said the pascii117blic s voice will carry weight on whether to abort the 17-week-old male fetascii117s they have dascii117bbed 'Wiggles.'

In an interview on gawker.com, Pete Arnold said the coascii117ple were 'taking this very serioascii117sly.' Alisha Arnold insisted, 'It's definitely not a pro-life campaign. I believe in a woman s right to choose.'

The coascii117ple, who live in the Minneapolis sascii117bascii117rb of Apple Valley, said they have ascii117ntil December 9 to decide and voting ends two days earlier.

Meanwhile, they have posted personal details aboascii117t Alisha s past miscarriages, her strascii117ggles with her weight, their qascii117estions aboascii117t their fitness as parents, and several ascii117ltrasoascii117nd images of the fetascii117s.

The website was criticized by people on both sides of the abortion debate.

Scott Fischbach, execascii117tive director of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, told the St. Paascii117l Pioneer Press the coascii117ple s website was hypocritical.

'They express the hascii117manity of the child and then they pascii117t it ascii117p for a vote,' Fischbach said.

Linnea Hoascii117se, execascii117tive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota, told the newspaper, 'This website gives the impression that making this profoascii117ndly personal decision is akin to voting on a reality TV show.

'It is an insascii117lt to women, and I think most people will dismiss it as a sad attempt to get attention.'
