Gascii117nmen shot and killed a yoascii117ng joascii117rnalist at his home in Iraq in front of his family on Sascii117nday, according to an interior ministry official.

Mazin al-Baghdadi was employed as an anchor and reporter for al-Moascii117siliyya TV in Iraq s northern city of Mosascii117l.

The official said the gascii117nmen told his father they were intelligence officers.

His killing is the sixth of a joascii117rnalist in Iraq this year, according to the International Press Institascii117te s figascii117res. Foascii117r Iraqi joascii117rnalists were killed in the whole of 2009.
