Hascii117ndreds of Jordanian joascii117rnalists have demanded an end to government cascii117rbs on press freedom in a coascii117ntry where most of the media is state-controlled.

Emboldened by the wave of Arab ascii117prisings, joascii117rnalists from mainstream dailies, news websites, state television and radio joined forces in a rare show of ascii117nity against interference by officials and intelligence services.
