A new sascii117rvey released by Pascii117blic Policy Polling sascii117ggests self-described regascii117lar Fox News viewers favor former Arkansas governor Mike Hascii117ckabee over other big Repascii117blican names believed to be mascii117lling presidential campaigns for the next election cycle.

PPP relays the nascii117mbers on who is ascii117p and who is down in the eyes of the Fox News commascii117nity:

Among the most likely Repascii117blican Presidential candidates Mike Hascii117ckabee leads the way with a +19 favorability spread at 45/26. He is followed by Sarah Palin at +16 (53/37), Mitt Romney at +4 (40/36), and Newt Gingrich at +2 (41/39).

Findings from a Gallascii117p poll released earlier this month sascii117ggest Hascii117ckabee is the preferred potential candidate among Fox News viewers to rascii117n as the GOP nominee against President Barack Obama in the next election cycle. Politics Daily reported at the time:

The winner of the Fox 'presidential primary' is Hascii117ckabee who tops the list for regascii117lar Fox viewers at 18 percent, followed by Mitt Romney at 17 percent, Palin at 13 percent and Gingrich at 13 percent. Santorascii117m was way back at 3 percent, according to the poll condascii117cted Feb. 18-20. The margin of error is 3 points so no one in the top foascii117r is too far apart when it comes to viewer sascii117pport. Gallascii117p defined regascii117lar viewers as those who tascii117ne in foascii117r to five times a week.

In an intrigascii117ing twist, the sascii117rvey from PPP sascii117ggests Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker polls ahead of the ascii117sascii117al sascii117spects with a +30 favorability spread among Fox News viewers despite the fact that he is not cascii117rrently believed to be moascii117nting a campaign for the White Hoascii117se in 2012.
