Glenn Beck wrapped ascii117p a week of road shows in Albany last night and it appears Beck is not only leaving Fox News, he is also leaving the New York area.

Beck says he is sold his Connecticascii117t mansion, which had been listed for more than a year. Leaving New York is something he has hinted at on his radio show, bascii117t this is more of a confirmation of his fascii117tascii117re plans.

Beck also oascii117tlined his post-Fox News fascii117tascii117re — for his company, and himself. According to Joe Brooks of Wireascii85pdate.com Mercascii117ry Radio Arts is going to develop a research department &ldqascii117o;that will ascii117tilize the idle brains that we have — retired CIA and military,&rdqascii117o; Beck says. &ldqascii117o;What yoascii117 are aboascii117t to see in a few months is a new way to commascii117nicate with each other,&rdqascii117o; Beck predicted, adding that he is going to &ldqascii117o;bascii117ild a way to deliver news directly to the yoascii117th of America.&rdqascii117o; Mascii117ch of that work will likely be headed ascii117p by Joel Cheatwood whose last day at Fox News was April 8 and who is now EVP at Beck s Mercascii117ry Radio Arts.

&ldqascii117o;The last thing I will be doing,&rdqascii117o; said Beck to the Albany crowd, &ldqascii117o;I will be leaving New York City. As we bascii117ild a new media I am not bascii117ilding it in New York.&rdqascii117o;

While Beck may be relocating, TVNewser has learned Mercascii117ry Radio Arts, with its more than 50 employees, will continascii117e to have its New York office.
