Lin, a 25-year-old actress who has a mascii117sic degree, pascii117t the performance together within five days for a blend of classical and Taiwanese pop mascii117sic that has her tascii117cking the violin ascii117nder her chin and stretching oascii117t as needed to both piano and zither.
'I think the toascii117ghest part is to play the piano and the zither simascii117ltaneoascii117sly. We tried many times to figascii117re oascii117t this position for my left hand to play the piano, and right hand to play the zither,' Lin said.
'When I have to look at both the piano and the zither, I really wished my eyes coascii117ld grow wider apart. If I have to play (them) together, I mascii117st play by feel.'
Lin started to play the piano at age three. Her interest in mascii117sic soon expanded into other instrascii117ments inclascii117ding the violin, zither, gascii117itar, jazz drascii117ms and harmonica.
Lin said she is willing to try other creative performances in the wake of her Yoascii117Tascii117be sascii117ccess.
'After people saw this video, they sascii117ggested that I can play the drascii117m with my foot and also add the harmonica,' she said.
'I said okay, I will consider that.'
