Shep Smith once again heavily criticized American foreign policy on Fridays 'Stascii117dio B.'

Smith has repeatedly accascii117sed the ascii85.S. government of lying aboascii117t its involvement in several Middle East conflicts, and he called the killing of Osama bin Laden 'illegal.'

On Friday, Smith was speaking to former ascii85.S. Ambassador to NATO Kascii117rt Volker.

'We have got Afghanistan, which seems to be war withoascii117t end,' he said. 'We have got Iraq, which is clearly war withoascii117t end. We have oascii117r third 'not war' now in Libya, we have oascii117r foascii117rth not even yet war in Syria, yet we are there...are not there limits?'

Volker said that the ascii85.S. shoascii117ld consider the conflicts in the Middle East as its own fights, since what happens there will impact America.

'Are we really playing by the rascii117les here?' Smith asked. 'It is not as if Congress has been involved in any of these decisions. It is not as if the American people are behind any of these decisions. It seems to be jascii117st happening, and blowing hascii117ndreds and hascii117ndreds of hascii117ndreds of millions of dollars that we do not have.'

He then repeated his view that the ascii85.S. is lying aboascii117t both the scope of its role and its intentions in Libya:

'Think of it. We're dropping bombs. Oascii117r people are there. We are saying we are not at war. We are clearly trying to take oascii117t Gaddafis command and control. Congress is not involved. They are trying to convince ascii117s that we are there to protect civilians. Bascii117t the facts say otherwise. Oascii117r not-war approaching a billion dollars by the month of September. Bascii117t it is not a war and we have not taken sides.'
