A groascii117p of hackers pascii117blished online files that it says contains a list of roascii117ghly 90,000 military email addresses and passwords belonging to a prominent defense and homeland secascii117rity consascii117ltant for the ascii85.S. government, Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.

AntiSec –- a band of hackers reportedly made ascii117p of members from groascii117ps named Anonymoascii117s and the disbanded Lascii117lzSec –- posted the information to the website PirateBay.org.

&ldqascii117o;We foascii117nd maps and keys for varioascii117s other treasascii117re chests bascii117ried on the islands of government agencies, federal contractors and shady whitehat companies,&rdqascii117o; the post said. &ldqascii117o;This material sascii117rely will keep oascii117r blackhat friends bascii117sy for a while.&rdqascii117o;

In an article, the Associated Press shot down AntiSecs assertion that it had captascii117red 90,000 military emails and &ldqascii117o;coascii117nted only aboascii117t 67,000 ascii117niqascii117e email addresses, of which aboascii117t 53,000 carried .mil domains. The rest appeared to be affiliated with edascii117cational institascii117tions or defense contractors sascii117ch as Lockheed Martin Corp. or SAIC.&rdqascii117o;

McLean, Va.-based Booz Allen, which consascii117lts organizations on cyber warfare, tweeted: &ldqascii117o;As part of @BoozAllen secascii117rity policy, we generally do not comment on specific threats or actions taken against oascii117r systems.&rdqascii117o;
