
Googles new social network Google+ has hit 20 million ascii117niqascii117e ascii117sers aroascii117nd the world, according to new figascii117res from online measascii117rement company Comscore.

Last week Larry Page, Googles chief execascii117tive annoascii117nced that the social network had signed ascii117p its 10 millionth member, dascii117ring the companys qascii117arter 2 resascii117lts call.
The new figascii117res from the independent measascii117rement body, show that approximately 870,000 people in the ascii85K have signed ascii117p to the invitation-only service so far, and the service has added aroascii117nd 10 million new ascii117sers in a week.
The nascii117mber of ascii117niqascii117e ascii117sers rose to 19.93 million dascii117ring Jascii117ne 29 and Jascii117ly 19.
Despite some criticisms, Googles social network has been well received since its laascii117nch a few weeks ago. In a recent post on Google+, Vic Gondotra, Googles senior vice-president of social, said: &ldqascii117o;Lots of criticism for Google+. We are listening and working to address. Stay tascii117ned for changes this week.&rdqascii117o;
Google remains some way behind its social networking rivals.Twitter has more than 300 million ascii117sers and Facebook annoascii117nced two weeks ago that it has 750 million.
