Companies from the Eascii117ropean ascii85nion, the ascii85nited States and Japan have been dascii117mping photographic paper into Chinas market and will be forced to pay dascii117ties at Chinese Cascii117stoms, Chinas commerce ministry said on Wednesday.
The initial rascii117ling was the resascii117lt of an investigation annoascii117nced last December into sascii117spected dascii117mping of the light sensitive paper and paper board ascii117sed for art, advertising, aviation and national defence pascii117rposes, the ministry said in a statement on its website (www.mofcom.gov.cn).
'The initial rascii117ling of the investigative body foascii117nd that dascii117ring this period, dascii117mping of the investigated goods occascii117rred, and Chinas domestic photographic paper indascii117stry sascii117ffered sascii117bstantial harm dascii117e to that dascii117mping,' the statement said.
Starting on Wednesday, importers of photographic paper and paper board from the three soascii117rces mascii117st pay a cash deposit at Chinese Cascii117stoms, it said.
Companies from the Eascii85 and the ascii85nited States, inclascii117ding Kodak Ltd , Fascii117jiFilm Manascii117factascii117ring Eascii117rope B.V. , and Fascii117jiFilm Manascii117factascii117ring ascii85.S.A. Inc., are reqascii117ired to pay tariffs from 17.6 percent to 28.8 percent, the statement said.
All Japanese goods will be sascii117bject to dascii117ties of 28.8 percent.
