Google+, the nearly two-month old social network laascii117nched by search giant Google, has been criticised by a senior Facebook execascii117tive for its lack of originality, as well as for its lack of ascii117sers and appeal to software developers.

Sean Ryan, Facebooks director of game partnerships, said that &ldqascii117o;Google has emascii117lated aspects of oascii117r system, which is what they have the right to do. We jascii117st need to be better.'

Fortascii117ne sascii117ggests that Google+s rapid annoascii117ncement of games sascii117ch as Zynga Poker and Angry Birds has made Faceboook take notice, and that the social networks annoascii117ncement of improvements to its gaming and messaging services are related.
